1. Introduction

RFC-Zone.org provides the RFC database in HTML format so that reading
and navigation between RFC's is made easier.

With RFC-zone.org, you can link to "Sections" of documents rather
   than a document.

2. Description

2.1. Documents used

The documents come from the http://www.rfc-editor.org/ database and
are updated on a regular basis.

2.2. Operations performed the original text documents

   List of operations:

      - page feeds are suppressed,
      - empty lines are suppressed,
      - if a "Table of Contents" exists, hyperlinks are tentatively
        created to the corresponding section.
      - anchor are inserted on section titles so that individual sections
        can be linked,
      - within the text, RFC are detected and link to the corresponding
        documents are inserted.

2.3. Additional features

A print feature is available. You will obtain a clean document
without page headers, footers or empty lines.

3. Miscellaneous

3.1. RFC definition

The Requests for Comments (RFC) document series is a set of technical
and organizational notes about the Internet (originally the ARPANET),
beginning in 1969. Memos in the RFC series discuss many aspects of
computer networking, including protocols, procedures, programs, and
concepts, as well as meeting notes, opinions, and sometimes humor.
For more information on the history of the RFC series, see "30 years
   of RFCs" [RFC #2555].
